MURRAY BRIDGE BIKE PARK /

Murray Bridge is located in South Eastern Adelaide, South Australia. It attracts tourists and locals to the picturesque Murray River for water sports and passive recreation.

We were engaged as the lead consultant to design a Bike Park in the popular riverfront Sturt Reserve Precinct alongside other popular assets including a skate park, playground and modular scooter pump track.

This Bike Park design was tailored to beginner and intermediate users and included multiple lines for skill development. We included unique and feature obstacles, elements and features for increased enjoyment and activation. Bench seating on the start mound was designed as a hang out area for those wishing to drop in for the next run or for viewing purposes.

The local Community Reference Group (CRG) were passionate riders and provided crucial and positive feedback for the space. It is intended that council will engage the CRG for long term maintenance of the space. To accommodate this request we designed a secure, custom earth covered storage unit within the start mound to house tools and accessories for maintenance.
